after market fuel filter
« on: February 04, 2018, 10:42:05 pm »
Hello WSC members,

Just wondering if anyone have any experience with aftermarket fuel filter. I'm thinking about getting one for my 04 XT, the price on rockauto is significantly cheaper than OEM. I would like to get some opinions before i pull the trigger.

Thanks in advance :D

No problems. Get one from a decent brand.

I'm a WIX fanboi, so that's what I bought.
I may scream like a dainty lady, but I punch like a fairly strong 11-year-old.

+1 for Wix, I generally always use them for aftermarket filters unless the OEM is available on rock auto (Aisin, Denso, etc etc assuming they are the OEM for said part).

FRAM is the OEM for most Subaru filters. #rip

Oil filters are the exception to that rule.
