05LGT’S R56 Mini GP (23/50)
« on: February 27, 2018, 09:23:58 pm »
After nearly two years of on and off searching, I finally have a Fibreglass Camaro of my own.

Rundown:

2002 Corvette Z06
66k km
Original Calgary car
SLP Long Tube headers
Billy Boat exhaust
Some kind of intake
Some kind of somewhat serious aftermarket sound system (it even has things in the trunk)
Fresh fluids, AC Delco battery and brakes
Tires and wheels are brand new and they are not staying

Soon:

New wheels and tires
Have paint and 3M revived or re done
Dyno car, tune if needed

Sometime in the future:

Either revert back to AS class or else add a cam and heads
Change drivers seat
Remove electronic column lock garbage
???
Profit

Did your car come with a short shifter? A guy in the AB vette group is selling a shifter assembly (bottom box, shifter, and knob) out of a 2009 c6z06 for only $50. I replaced my short shifter kit with a C6 shifter and quite like it. It's just the right throw and feel. My short shifter kit was WAY too much effort.

Yeah actually mine did. Is it a Facebook group?

Ordered some wheels and tires, 18x9.5 Grandsport replicas in black with 285/35/18 all around. Should be good enough to putter around on this year.

Both of you are correct. I wanted the ability to rotate tires.
