Wheels and tires showed up last night. Just need to test fit and measure the rear to figure out my spacer size I want to use and whether I can use bolt on hubcentric or I have to go with elongated studs.

I don't name things I know I'm going to sell eventually. Hence why I'd never name any kids I had.

3-4 weeks I guessing before the roads are dry enough to take it out.

The wait is going to feel longer than it actually is... I wish I could drive my car soon, but the huge ruts in my neighborhood will prevent me from taking it home for a long time...

Edit: with these sticky tires, make sure the eccentric bolts are torqued beyond the factory specs. They are known to slip and give you a bad day under heavy load. The PFADT and AMT alignment kits are both great for getting rid of all the eccentrics, once they are set, you won't have to touch your alignment for a long time.

Corvette season is almost upon us.

I’m still waiting on my lug nuts to install my wheels and spacers.

Been talking with Blackmist and probably will end up putting a cam and valve springs in my car either this summer or next winter. Most likely a TSP 228R with 112LSA.

Here's one with everything put together... Optional: gold chain and fanny pack. Alternative: Crocs with socks.

Sick thanks for the tip.

It’s $50 a month cheaper to insure this car than my 2017 WRX was, thank you old people who don’t crash your cars.

If you don’t drive them you can’t crash them  ;)

First drive just happened, made it 1km before the active handling failed hahaha.

Was it because there was too much wheel spin? I've only seen the active handling warming up message.

I’m thinking maybe low battery voltage. It didn’t come back after I drove it for gas and got a couple km on it.

Death comes quickly by torque applied to cold tires, RIP Diamondedges ears via exhaust.

Easy car to drive, torque will kill you if you try and drive it like a laggy turbo car. Nice shift feel was unexpected. Seating position fits me luckily. Heads up display is actually really handy. Fuel economy is terrible around town, gearing was long as expected. Exhaust is just right.

The exhaust impressions, from your resident fobby wordsmith:

Cold start, it thumps you in the chest just after the engine catches. Nice throaty thump. Cold idle, loud.
Warm start and idle is a nice low thrum-rumble (thrumble) that gets deeper and choppier w/ revs.

WOT, it has that great V8 banshee wail. Properly loud.

It has a slow crackle when revving from a standstill, but at high revs, on the overrun, man, it crackles FAST with this super gnar "omfg my ears are bleeding"

Definitely an erection generating machine.

Oh, definitely needs a camera in the cockpit. If you film the boners, you can easily set up your own website and sell the vids.

Cleaned exhaust tips today
Turkey basted and wiped out clutch fluid reservoir then refilled with fresh DOT 4 for the first of many many times.

Was asked to display the car at Driven for the SASC guys so it looks like I’m going to have to take care of the paint/ppf issues myself soon  :(

Average fuel economy over the first 620km has been 16.3L/100km.

Having a hard time not going ham and ordering all the major stuff I want for the car, but I know that’s a bad idea.
