So how many STDs do you have? A condom isn't a uckfaying top hat for your oosterray, Johnny.

He's probably in better shape than asstuna, guy's got STD's that science can't even identify yet.

More like a uckfaying-balaclava.

Jeeeeze, that's a condom?  You don't have to do the entire exhaust system man.  Just the tips.
Gotta do the whole car...

Well got some bad news from the shop late yesterday, one of my rocker panels has been previously repainted and when they pulled the last pieces of PPF off it peeled the paint on that side. You’re probably thinking “no bid deal, just remove the piece and have it painted”

A jiffy marker should hide that. This only seems fitting given the mess you made on the hood:

Decided I’m gonna buy HP Tuners and try to tune my car myself.

If you can figure out this HP Tuner thing within the next week or so, I'd be willing to chip in 1/2.

I was poking around the car looking for issues as Blackmist felt I had something causing it to run richer than it should even without a tune and found three potential issues. The first clamp after the MAF was dead loose, one plug wire on the coil pack was only like 7/8 on and I had a leak from one EGR gasket. All potential issues I suppose.

After a test drive to clean the plugs it definitely is running better. Still throws P0300 it it idles more than about a minute which is to be expected.

I also found the AC is now not working. The compressor clutch does not engage so either there’s a leak in the system or there’s and issue with the compressor/clutch/wiring.

I also have a drip from the transaxle which is like the drain, will have to replace the crush washers again it looks like.

I’m not happy with the new Royal Purple transaxle fluid I put in, it doesn’t feel quite as smooth and I’ve had issues with it jumping out of first gear from a standstill when it’s hot. Likely going back to GM fluid as per their second recommendation. I also found the receipts for the built transaxle and it was over $5k CAD all in and installed.

Comparison of the two front cylinder plugs. The darker one  was the one with the wire issue and also the EGR leak on that bank.

New shocks at 292k for my truck, some fancy KYBs off Rock Auto. Also drained and filled hydroboost fluid from the reservoir for the third time, it’s still disgusting.

Corvette got driven twice this week, have been driving it only a couple times a month. It’s developed a metallic rattle at idle from right under the centre of the car I need to look at. Also the shift knob became loose right as I got home yesterday and likely needs the clamp tightened.
