New Clutch break in question.

Hello everyone, looking for some input on new clutch break in. I am aware that I should not be hard on it for the first 600ish KMs ie: hard take offs or aggressive shifts. My question is do I have to avoid WOT accelerations?

If the clutch it fully engaged, WOT will not affect your break in.

I would consult the manufacturers break in procedure for your specific clutch. Some say not to go over X000rpm for X00km. Which basically means to not let the clutch see full power for awhile.

I would not. Try to drive like a grandma for a good while. 600km sounds good (in a city remember. Highway driving does nothing to bed it).

Its torque you're worried about. Fast changes in torque are bad (might never fully grip) but so is lots of torque (might break the grip). It's easier to apply less torque to get what you want at high rpms but it's also easy to uckfay it up. Wot of course applies maximum torque.
