Stage One
« on: April 16, 2018, 11:14:54 am »
I was looking at doing a Cobb stage one tuning system in my car but I've heard a few things about the intakes
not being so great.

Has anyone had any issues with theirs?

Or if you have any other suggestions for brands/products

I want to do a air intake, Accesport, down pipe to start :P

The off the shelf tunes are not great. I suggest a protune or etune right away. Personally i would skip the intake unless you love the woosh sound. I had a Cobb system and sold it to obtain a Grimmspeed. Grimmspeed and ETS are probably the only intakes worth purchasing but you are mainly doing it for noise/looks.

Best bang for the buck mods are ebcs, tgv delete and egr delete with a stage 1 protune tune.
