Borla S Type or Corsa Preformance Catback?
« on: May 27, 2018, 12:15:39 am »
I have a 2012 Sti hatch and am looking for a new exhaust and I think I’ve narrowed it down to the Borla S type and the Corsa Preformance Catbacks. Looking for opinions and thoughts on both. Also just to clarify I can put a cat back on without voiding warranty?

I'm currently running the Borla catback exhaust on my 09 STI and it's definitely on the quieter side compared to other aftermarket exhausts out there. There's zero drone and it's a bit louder than stock. If you're ever in Calgary, I can let you listen to it and take you for a spin to hear it for yourself

Thanks guys I already ordered the Borla S-Type, I live in grande prairie unfortunately so I guess I’ll wait to see how it sounds when it gets here

Do you have any videos of how the exhaust sounds? Like start up or drive bys? From what I gathered on YouTube the borla s Type seems to be one of the louder catbacks especially compared to the Cobb catback.
