Not a huge update but currently just waiting on parts to arrive. I made one blackfriday purchase that was a little above and beyond but I was going to do it eventually.

I bought a BBK for the car. Kit consists of Wilwood dynapro 4 piston radial mount calipers, 11.75" 2 piece directional floating rotors.

It took awhile but the brakes finally arrived.

I need to hold off from the final install because it looks like I need to replace my front hubs/bearings. There is a little bit of play that I don't really want with a track focused car.

Another slight update but I finally pulled the trigger on a few more parts required to finish the build. Turbo, exhaust manifold and 3" turboback exhaust have been ordered.

The box/duct tape were really low quality but the contents were well wrapped. The package came from Bulgaria so it made it nearly halfway around the world.

It's not all sugared up so it was probably filled/purged with more shielding gas while it was welded?

When I was installing the BBK i noticed some excessive in and out play in the front hubs. When i removed the old hubs to replace with centric hubs the old bearing was nearly falling out of the hub. Good thing I caught this now than have a potential failure on the track. New hubs/bearings are now installed along with the front brakes all bolted down.

A short update but I now have the transmission out of the car and the engine is ready to be pulled and put on the stand this weekend. The plan is to remove the oil pan and drill/tap it for oil return. The transmission has 2 oil leaks that I believe originate from the tail housing case half and the input shaft seal. My plan is to bolt and plumb the turbo to the engine and then drop it back into the car all completed. At this point I am waiting for parts (fittings, gaskets, couplers, ect.) to arrive. I am hoping the bulk of everything I need is here by next week.

I also removed the AC system and plan to clean out all the lines and replace all the major components (known working AC compressor, condenser/dryer, evaporator). Not sure when I will reinstall the AC system but that might be a winter project.
