Hey guys, does anyone know if the usdm GC/gf balljoints/inner and outer tie rods work on the JDM GC/gf?
I found this site jp-carparts.com and my chassis number is showing 34140AA030 which fits usdm imprezas up to 1997 and legacys up to 99. The usdm 98 impreza has a different number which is 34140FC000 and is also $30 cheaper at the dealership. The dealership says I can't return or exchange so I need to get the right one with the corresponding boot for the outer rod.
Can anyone shed some light? I can't imagine the 2 being any different other than length?
rockauto also has the 97 and 98 impreza having 2 different inner tie rods.
