One day I will own a car with properly fitting wheels and tires but that will not be this car.

Respect
The 3 is raw.  Lighter than more agile.  The 6 probably feels like a 747.  And by that contrast, my STI probably feels like the Hindenburg.  So GR's are like the International Space Station.

Nope, I am talking about the wheel lips as well. Like I said, that isn't from curbing, that is strictly from the body of the car hitting the lip while rolling.

Could always pull the rear fenders so the lips won't contact the body or run more negative camber :P

I have them rolled and slightly pulled and I could run more negative camber but then the fitment won't be as good as it is haha. The rubbing of the lip doesn't bother me much anyways as I will be re-doing the wheels basically every summer to change the color.

This entire conversation is probably so cringey to everyone on this forum >:D I'm okay with being the only stance boy here lol.

Oh... I always attributed that to you.

I just figured Dylan was the young cousin who vapes and wears torn clothing, and we all call it a phase.

I still get roasted about my WRX being at 4x4 height. EVEN AFTER I LOWERED IT.

You did a great job with those winter wheels. They look so good in that paint.

I wish I could have been more stancey with my Legacy when I had it but KWs don't really let you go that low

I did once upon a time have a car with properly fitting wheels and tires. In this phase it was kind of low but still very functional!

But then it turned into this....And this is where the stancey itshay started ha.

Car is in full winter mode. Stock struts are back in, stock rear camber / toe arms are back in and roof rack is on. Ready to hit the mountains.

I forgot how much it sucks to change rear suspension arms on the ground using just a jack/jack stands. It is very hard to get any sort of leverage when you're under the car like that.

I think it was first year of SubMit, following WSC Red Deer Super Meet.

Not really a big update or an update at all but something that bothered me last summer was having uneven camber on the car (-7.5 on the rear and about -4 up front), so I had my front camber plates machined so I can now match the front camber to the rear.

Had each slot extended 18mm.

It drives just fine in the rain. I don’t push the car to the point where the lack of traction from the camber would cause an issue. If that’s why you’re asking lol.

Holy smokes, it has been quite some time since I posted on WSC!

Have I missed anything exciting??

I was laid off due to Covid (work was where I would usually browse WSC), but I am now back at work thankfully so I will probably be more active again.

The Legacy has been doing pretty good for me. There have been a few issues in the past 6 months but she's still going strong.

The usual fuel leak under the manifold got quite bad so I replaced all of the fuel lines.
Blew the factory rad so I replaced that with a Koyo.
Had a huge exhaust leak where the exhaust went into a Y so I had that replaced.
Crankshaft position sensor went bad so I replaced that as well.

The car is now up around 90 000km which is pretty crazy for me considering I bought the car with like 50 000km. The most I have ever put on a car while owning it is probably 10 000km as I was buying and selling cars pretty quick back then.

Anyways...Thought I would say hello and bring this back from the dead as summer is on the horizon and I might be making some changes.
