I have to admit, I am surprised by the positive feedback haha. Thanks boys!

Yea, I’ll definitely be running black lugs with this set up. I have black Work valve stems too so it’ll all vibe well.

Looks FANTASTIC.  Love it!

I think it will look better on his black then it did on my blue.

Never crossed my mind to look for a build thread until now. Nice to see those wheels with a fresh refinish! Excited to see the car all come together.

You should try to go lower than my buddy Brent did with his GTB :P

Haha I subscribe to Brent's YouTube channel and have known about his Legacy for quite some time!

I will probably be running a similar stance to his in that photo.

You're gonna have to notch your frame in the front to get that low btw. We were running into clearance issues when we lowered his car to that height in the front due to the CVs hitting the rails.

Decided today was the day to get my car into full summer mode.

This required me to roll my fenders, install coilovers, install Whiteline rear camber and toe arms, do my alignment (eyeball alignment) and then throw on the wheels and adjust the height. Overall with camber/toe adjustment and height adjustment (wheels on and off 5 times) it took me about 4 hours by myself to get everything done.

I don't know exactly how much negative camber I am running but I would imagine about -3/-4 degrees in the rear and -2 in the front. Car is booked in for an alignment on Wednesday.

Anyways here are some crappy iPhone photos, I will try to get some better ones this weekend.

Jesus, I hope you never let anyone else drive that car in fear of curbing those.

I may need to step up my spring rates again. I am running 16k right now and my fenders are hitting my lips and starting to rub the powder coating off. Thinking I may jump up to 22k or 24k, then I can go even lower and almost achieve a fender to lip fitment.

Looking good dude! Definitely should go higher spring rates to get that fender to lip fitment! Might be the photos but it looks like you might have less negative camber in the rear than you think. My old Speed3 had -3 in the front and -5.5 in the rear for reference:

Need to lower the front a little more but with these spring rates this is as low as I can go right now. Roof rack was on for moving purposes and I thought it looked pretty cool with the car being this low.

You might be right jrho, I was honestly just guessing haha.

I think it looks great. Maybe raise the rear if you want the wheel gap to be symmetrical?

Thank you!

Raise the rears, blasphemy! Once I have my other garage set up I will lower the fronts a bit.

The CBD oil in his vape dulls the pain of looking so "lit af".

Re: Dylan's 2003 Legacy GTB - Finally Aligned
« Reply #72 on: June 18, 2019, 07:56:17 am »
I finally took my car in to get aligned yesterday, very long overdue. I went through a set of brand new tires in about 2400km due to my toe being out and obviously the negative camber doesn't help. The numbers actually surprised me.

Turns on there is -7 degrees of camber in the rear (much more than I thought) and -3.5 degrees up front. The toe was 0 up front but was a degree toed out in the rear. Car is driving much better now and hopefully this new set of tires will last me the rest of summer.

And no I'm not complaining about the tires, I know I have to pay to play when running this much camber bla bla.  >:D
