quick fuel pump question
« on: September 06, 2018, 02:56:56 pm »
just looking for confirmation that I need the Walbro GSS342 pump as a direct replacement in a 1994 WRX and not the Walbro GSS341.

Did a search in the forums and either I'm blind or can't use the search correctly but I didn't find what I was looking for.  Lot's of discussions about "Just replaced my pump today..." but nothing with specific info on which pump / model / etc... was used.

Appreciated.

Just down this same page is a rather detailed discussion...  JDM 1992-2000 Fuel Pump Part # and Alternatives

Deatschwerks has a fuel pump that's a direct bolt on for GCs with longer warranty than Walboro (Also cheaper when I bought it).
I Love mine- had it for 5 ish years now and have never had an issue even when starting in -40 degree weather.
