At the end of January I bought Canuckrz' lovingly cared for 2004 Forester XT. I am grateful for his fastidious attention to detail on caring for this car, and his preference to keep it within WSC.

I've received numerous comments on how clean it is for it's age, OMG IT'S LHD?!?! and many others. This thread will serve to keep the Fozzy spirit alive. My plans for it are minimal; Canuckrz spent a lot of effort in modifying it tastefully. I will probably get it protuned again down the road just to clean up the rev-hang and refine the driveability. It's going to be a road trip/ski trip machine, comfy DD and grocery getter first and foremost.

Her name is Lily. And she gets f'in down when you lay into the throttle. Gearing in the FXT is short and sexy. Really feels raw and punchy compared to the WRX, which feels almost lazy to dance when I drove them back to back. The spool and whistle makes this more racekar than the WRX for a DD haha.

You don't like the current headunit?
If the sea was vodka, and I was a duck.
I would swim to the bottom, and drink my way up.
But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.
If you're having forum problems, I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems but your post ain't one.

The sound out of it is good, however it doesn't support BT A2DP for music streaming. Also, BT call quality was described by thedude as "two hella horns in the background just blaring while I sounded like I was in an echo chamber." There's also a high frequency hiss that matches the engine RPM that leaks through the speakers.

Agreed.
I don't name things I know I'm going to sell eventually. Hence why I'd never name any kids I had.

If your WRX is feeling lazy, a DP and tune would wake it up.

I wouldn't say so...  Going all the way would include a new turbo, intercooler, injectors, etc etc.

Bruh, I have a ratty old catless downpipe with your name on it. Also, a Tactrix and enough experience tuning to make your car not asplode.

With a daily, it's time to really rice out the WRX.

Was it a Lightspeed build?
