Seems like normal mileage for a turboed subaru in winter.

I've been averaging around 11L/100KM on my last 10 fuel-ups in the WRX.

I’ve been averaging 13-14L/100 in my wagon. Makes me miss the 10L/100 I would consistently get in my GC8, no matter the time of year or how hard I drove it. :(

My hatch sees high 11 low 12 during the winter with fairly conservative driving, a bit of punch but mostly rush hour or highway cruising kinda stuff.. 15 seems pretty high...

15 seems high. My larger injector/ turbo set up in sitting around 13L/100km.

I would be investigating fuel lines, air filters, recent oil changes, ect

I got as high as 15.6L/100km during that cold snap. It DRINKS when it's idling and cold.

I have a few datasets for various SGs! :)

2007 FXT (vf34, stock injectors, pro-tuned, highway, n=49) @ 10.7 L/100km
2006 FXT (TD04, stock, highway, n=51) @ 11.0 L/100km
2005 FXT (TD04, stock, city/highway, but only n=5 in winter) @ 14.8 L/100km
2008 FXT (EFR6758, ID1000, water meth, 6MT, etc, city, n=46) @ 13.5 L/100km

I took out outliers (i.e. when they were on the dyno = much worse!)

The lines are moving averages. You can really tell where I stopped doing the Strathmore commute!

Wow!
It seems like I'm not too far off...

I have my undertray taken off and running on A/T tires... that wouldn't be the best for gas mileage either =/

I tried running the econo map on my Cobb and it doesnt seem to help too much.

TD04 spools too quickly!

I averaged around 10.5-11.5L/100km on summer tires (Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3's size 235/45/17) and around 11.5-12.5/100km on winter tires (Nitto SN2 size 225/45/17).
This current winter I've been averaging around 10.5L/100km as I've been taking the highways/freeways more often. *These figures are after conversion as summer tires are -3.80% and winters are -4.94%

Here is my fuelly when for my Stage 2 2008 Forester XT 5MT - Stock turbo, injectors, with protune

Speedometer error will be a contributor.

I saw a huge swing going from 205/55 stockers to 215/65. Realistically, I wasn't filling up more often given my normal commute. But the increase in circumference caused an 8% drop in mileage recorded by the odometer.
I may scream like a dainty lady, but I punch like a fairly strong 11-year-old.

I average 12.5L/100KM. But, these past few winter fills up I've been around 14L/100KM.

Lifted, bigger all terrain tires (accounted for during my MPG calculation), Cobb Stage 1 OTS.

I feel a lot better knowing I'm not that far off from everyone else's mileage.

Looks like I need to invest in a bigger turbo so spooling takes longer!  >:D

Has anyone ran with the undertray on / off and noticed a big difference?

No major differences in removing the tray on my two GG WRX Wagons, my SG9 Forester XT, or my old SG5 Forester XT. For winter months your best to keep the tray on. Not only for a bit of protection, but mostly for it assisting the engine warming up properly.

These cars have never been about fuel mileage. Can't expect much between being turbo and AWD alone.

My 07 FXT is a partial daily and quite heavily modded. Beyond "all" of the detailed mods it has a built STi SB, rebuilt heads, just running the VF48 and 12 STi TMIC, ID850's, TGV deletes, Cobb intake and 3" catless TBE with EWG, pro tune. Anyway I typically get 14L/100km on average and it's also a 4EAT. The funny thing is my wife still daily's our 02 WRX Wagon which is basically stock and on a Cobb Stage 1 OTS map, and it doesn't really do much better.

My forester feels this way.... This thing gets worst gas mileage than my V6 TT Dinan tuned N54

Depending on the total km of your vehicle and the maintenance history there may be a few things that might need attention that could possible brush up the fuel mileage a bit, but with all of the common numbers mentioned I wouldn't expect that you'd gain more than a liter or two per 100km if some extra efficiency was achieved. I know my mentioned WRX could use a bit of extra maintenance at this point, although it's been running good all around.
