Brighton Vs Legacy L
« on: April 09, 2019, 03:48:55 pm »
Does anyone know how different they are?

I was shopping around on rockauto and found Brighton headlamp assemblies and was hoping they'd replace my legacy L assemblies.

Thanks in advance eeveryone

Isn't the Brighton an Impreza wagon, vs the Legacy?
If the sea was vodka, and I was a duck.
I would swim to the bottom, and drink my way up.
But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.

When we bought our 2000 Legacy L, we also checked a Legacy Brighton, but it was manual and my wife, despite being competent with the clutch, preferred an auto for comfort and resale value... (accountants, pfff.)

If I remember correctly, not many differences, mostly power/comfort stuff and no roof rails.

The headlights are similar, with a single reflector for both low and high beams (unlike the GT of the same era).

Thanks for the info! (wish mine was manual, it's fairly anemic to drive with the auto)

Had run into someone on a jobsite and he's got an old legacy for winter. And  WRX and an STI and asked him.  He said they'll be the same headlamp assembly. The Brighton being the base model and the L version the higher end model.
