Warms the heart to hear Cagare joined you.  That course looks huge.  How long did a run take?  What class are you in and would re-valves + brakes bump you up?

Fly me down there and I'll get a proper picture of you tripoding.

Brake pads change nothing. You're allowed to change your dampers in street class, just not the springs.
Is illmotion's sunday school where you learn about how Stance Jesus scraped for your sins?

Are co-drives available to all WSCers? I will be in Palm Desert during the August 1-2 weekend.

Careful what you're asking for. The payment terms will have you not walking right for a week at least.

I don't have an event in my calendar that day. Is there one I should be signing up for?

But yes Tom, for sure you can co-drive my car... I've seen you drive.

I was just taking a shot in the dark that there could be an event that weekend. Knowing my usual luck it will be a weekend nothing is happening.

Did some suspension stuff at 4150 miles. Front Koni's turned up after being re-valved by Jeff Wong at ProParts USA.

Spent a ridiculous amount of time wanking around trying to remove the tophat nuts which were buried under the windshield trim. Right side:

Left side (are you uckfaying kidding me Ford, you untcays?). Many uckfays were given:

Got excited, took a before photo of the first side

Part way through sent a "stop texting me" photo to the wife

We're done here. I'm opening a beer.

Adjusted the rear koni's back half a turn to see if the car stops trying to over-rotate.

Made the mistake today of grocery shopping at the same time as the panicked mob. Watched people taking entire boxes of canned goods from the shelves. At least it wasn't toilet paper. But hey, buy some uckfaying salsa to eat your toilet paper with.

2nd in class (first trophy in a while, but got absolutely creamed by Reed)
8th overall PAX out of 109 entries

New camera mount... Rattles like a motheruckfayer inside the case. I think it's the head rest flogging around. Bought an open mount on Amazon to reduce some of the sealed case sound transfer.

What's with these seat covers?

Congrats on top 10.  But the Asian dad side of me says, only 8th?  You're a whole 1.5 seconds behind in PAX.

He's parked in the basement garage of my apartment, around sea level. My neighbor and my Canadian roomie, who decided to chance it in commiefornia, have my keys. I expect to find the car as I left it without any additional miles on the odometer.

Hahahaha. uckfay.

I'm home in Alberta until California lifts the stay at home order. Might be permanent if the client cancels the renewable diesel job I'm working on. I'll go back down for some sun and to collect my itshay.

Fixed my fading front brake issue by replacing the pads with G-Loc R6 compound (at 6537 mi). The shop I purchased them though ordered unbedded instead of pre-bedded pads (for a street class Autocross car... I won't be returning my business), so bedding them on the street was rather fun. Luckily, I found a back prairie road with little traffic to perform the necessary. I have a very slight drag on the driver's side and the squeal is apparent at all speeds, including highway. Oh well.

Progress photo on the parking pad out back, because I only a have a one car garage now (FML):

Saturday I got to test them out at my first event in Alberta in a while. First time back at Ft MacLeod since 2015 I think? The brakes work great and I'm now over-braking and spending too much time coasting or making up lost time in a momentum car.

Only a few pictures at the SASC event in Ft MacLeod (I have a thing for 70's Corvettes)

First one I've seen in the flesh:

Was sitting in second place PAX last night until the timing computer results were corrected for 2020 PAX numbers. My first ever first place:

I mean, you could've come to my place for the pads..
If the sea was vodka, and I was a duck.
I would swim to the bottom, and drink my way up.
But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.
