Cheesiest/most ricer mod you've done
« on: June 10, 2019, 05:00:35 PM »
We all know we are guilty of it at some point. So let's see it. What's the cheesiest/most ricer mod you've ever done to your car-any car.  I'll start. I blame this on working night shift, having a credit card and Facebook spying on me. Lol

I'll admit I am old. In my day of tuning cars, all you needed was a long flat blade screwdriver, a custom bent 9/16" wrench, and a timing light!

I tried the muffler washer mod and it sounded terrible, straight up exhaust leak sound :o One of the gaskets was too old and crumbled off and I didnt have a spare with me so i made one out of cardboard and theres a slight boost in rumble and volume, i've been enjoying it lol

This mod takes me back to June 2017. The time my IG/Facebook got hacked by my now ex as a funny joke while I was on vacation with my kids.

Some people in here may consider my overall style as ricey but whatever haha.

I have done the usual young kid stuff like illest stickers, dildo shift knob and what not but I have never done anything like stick on vents or stupid spoilers etc.

My neighbour calls my car a racecar despite it being very far from a racecar. Since RICE is race inspired cosmetic effects then I must be a ricer

That was no dildo. That was like some kinky hentai inspired BDSM butt plug.

Haha I still have that shift knob, just not in use right now. I meant the classic clear bubbly dildo shift knob.

Too many things. Hack wiring jobs (AFR gauge connected to narrowband, voltage gauge, huge loose sub setups, running without interior/back seat cause racecar. DDing with a harness.
If the sea was vodka, and I was a duck.
I would swim to the bottom, and drink my way up.
But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.
If you're having forum problems, I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems but your post ain't one.

We once painted an old ford tempo orange, put 01 on the side, etc. But I don't think thats cheesy or rice, that was just having fun with a 100$ car.

Probably most cheesy and embarrassing was that zombie response unit sticker I snuck in with the SR5 decal. Or the VHT nightshade on the amber part of my taillight

From k_lx, also had STi stickers on the front doors of that truck.

I think theres a difference between rice and period correct haha. I am going for period correct in Evo, so have retained the gauge cluster, just updated it with innovate stuff. Also continued the ricing of the rad shroud and boot lid, congruent with both the PO and my old Subaru:

In japan:

Gauges that came with it

Under boot lid now complete with JDM bullet connector hack wires (they wanted lights in the reflectors and they never came with lights in the reflectors)
(Subaru pictures corrupted from photobucket so I can`t link those)

New gauges

Revised rice on rad shroud

Done a full straight pip exhaust with a fencepost on one of my old civics is up there for one of the most ghetto and ricey modifications I've done. Guilty of running a dildo shift knob in my old ae86 as well

She really put in a lot of effort. The windshield banner, the 3m canards, the sti wing, and even the tire lettering.

Yeah, it's all pretty awful.
