So, bringing this over from the recall thread...TL;DR From my understanding of this: You must follow the maintenance schedule to remain eligible under warranty. However - It says the work may be performed by "any automotive established or individual - but using parts other than "Genuine Subaru replacement parts" is not covered under warranty should something happen as a result. (So, use Subaru or approved oil filters and oil etc.)The schedule in months or kilometersHere's the simplified recommendation schedule. I preferred the old schedule style better from my 2013... So I've "done" the 6,000km Service A myself. I took a photo of the odometer (although the guy at Subaru Dealer told me I could wait until 8,000km's for the Oil Change which goes completely against this recommendation.) I guess I could say I "inspected" all of the items listed... However, what the hell is to be interpreted and considered for a battery service and road test. How could I prove that .. How can I even prove half this itshay..
