Don't want to get between your tip touching but do you have any other plans for the car?

I dunno. Not right at the moment, no. Maybe go stage 2 down the road, J pipe, AP, intake, pro-tune. Dunno though. Suspension is already pretty stiff and solid, there's really no point in putting coilovers on it. Especially if I've got another car to race. May just leave it stock or nearly stock for reliability since I've got a second car to muck about with. May at some point put a louder exhaust on it. I'd probably get a custom axle back fabded up to match up with the STI mid pipe, and just hold onto the STI mufflers.

What about you, performance mods on the table? I'm honestly not really into aesthetic mods at all other than the very simple stuff like wheels and maybe a front lip spoiler. More of a go over show guy, if you know what I mean.

All of my previous cars have been more go over show but I decided to tackle some of the show parts first. Like yourself go Stage 2 down the road and maintain my factory power-train warranty for as long as possible. My immediate summer plans are wheels and tires and a few minor items like a shift knob and a short throw. Other than that just enjoy it as funds will be limited due to landscaping the new place.

Just picked the car up from getting it's recall check up and ECM reprogramming done. Results were great, leak down was 2% across all cylinders (dat hard break in) and there were no thrown codes stored in the memory. New tune feels about the same to be honest. Haven't really had a chance to get into it much though, it's traffic time right now. Will update as/if I notice any real differences from the original tune.

Sadly, my peak boost/high score of 22.5 PSI was erased due to the reprogramming. I managed to hit 17.7 while getting up to speed on the highway. Must set new high score.

Well, just an update. Took the car on a road trip down to Las Vegas. 7 days total, including two that were only driving, approximately 4500 km. Car didn't skip a beat, or burn a drop of oil, which is impressive (especially given that temps were exceeding 45o Celsius most days.

From the mountains of Montana to the deserts of Arizona. Even managed to drive on the Las Vegas strip at night and during the day.

As an update to the below post regarding the ECM tune reprogramming that was done for the recall, I had read somewhere that the car will not make the same peak boost that it made on the original tune. I'd hit 22.5 PSI previously, and before the trip, my max recorded boost was 19.8 or something. Managed to hit 22.8 somewhere down there, which is higher than what I had before, so I'm not sure where those people got their info. Don't have a pic yet, but I'll post one up at some point.

Give me all the PSI's!!

My phone (iPhone 6) on a suction mount on the cowl above the boost gauge.

The scenery was amazing.

Went to Spec R, got some new tires.

Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ in 245/40 R18. Like 'em so far. Meatier looking than the Advans were, seemingly a bit more compliance in the sidewall too.

Car still runs. Needs the horn fixed. Will need a new O2 sensor sometime this summer. Very slight weep coming from the upper AVCS solenoid on the drivers side, needs a new gasket.

Shouldn't have moved next to a Christian school that holds horn honking parties on a weekday evening to flex on your broken horn.

Definitely not. Now that all those teachers are out of work, they're out of control.
