So when you say paid work, do you mean they pay for the mod in exchange for you to market it, or do they actually pay for the labor to install it as well?
I do a lot of photography for many of the parts companies which I get paid for! I also do marketing (videos) work on my YouTube that I often do in exchange for products. Sometimes a combination of both! In terms of labor to install, I've done all the installs myself on the WRX for example, but a big amount of my time goes into the filming and editing side of things (generally 1 video is about 5 to 10 hours of "work").
So basically modding the Taco' plays a small part of my aspirations to make photography and videography a full time gig someday! (You can see on my Website here some of the work for Perrin, Prolightz, and Rota

To answer LDS's question though, my opinion related to would I mod a leased vehicle the same if I wasn't in my current situation? I think I'd still invest the time installing and uninstalling parts ever if the time came to trade in. Just for the pure enjoyment I'd get out of those parts during the years of the lease. Maybe it's rice or nerdy but I'd see enjoyment in the Tacoma through adding new foglights, headlights, raptor lights, adding some wheels, window tint, etc. just because of the happiness and enjoyment I'd receive out of that over the years of leasing. Then when if I traded it in, I'd just spend a day in the garage to remove those parts and then sell them! The minimal loss in the re-sale of the parts would be worthwhile to me in the happiness I'd get. It's kind of part by part specific though. Would I do full bolt-ons, tune, exhaust, all that on a leased car? Probably not!! But these little things like the upgraded lights and such I'm doing work for in exchange, so it's kind of different I think.
Looks like a rally stage. Sweet pics.
Thanks man! It was pretty fun driving down some of those roads! The Subi' could totally have done 99% of the roads we were on except for driving through some of those tree stump areas and down by the river!
