Anyone know if a 02 Downpipe is compatible with the JDM ver 1 WRX?

I havent been able to find any threads, for compatability for the downpipes.

yes, but, only if you change the entire exhaust.

I have a full turboback GD exhaust on my JDM GF8 - fits  no problem, but yes, you have to swap the whole exhaust as the cats are a different length between the GC and GD chassis so the pipes join in a different location on each car.

the jdm pipe is actually shorter than the usdm one. so for the USDM one to fit u would need to get the USDM exhaust system.

look on hks's website they have some classic parts up there and i think they have a JDM wrx downpipe listed.

if not call around dude. the guys at vex performance can get u one no problem. they got me mine.

The JDM Up-pipes are catless to begin with so its not a very big upgrade for our cars, same goes with headers. Unless you are doing something crazy money spent on hearders could be put to better use like a FMIC, tuned ECU or standalone, TBE.
