Looking good!!  ;)

Good thing you caught that broken clip, imagine that fender ripping out - ouch!
How's it running now? did you get a tune at all?

08's do that... And the fender liner is a structural element of the bumper cover... So if you ignore it you end up with a car that looks like Tabibito's.  :o

Looks great, quick question, the hoodpins, how bad was the hood before you installed them in regards to movement on the highway? i've got the same hood on order but am trying to decide whether pins are needed.

Hoodpins are always needed. The latch is only fiberglassed into the hood, and can snap at any time, without warning.
If the sea was vodka, and I was a duck.
I would swim to the bottom, and drink my way up.
But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.
If you're having forum problems, I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems but your post ain't one.

he's dead on, its ridiculously dangerous!!! My hood was basically flapping!!!

Quick thing, get the hood X-coated unless you want it to look gold, lol...mine looks like carbon kevlar from the sun haha. It still looks awesome but unless you want to keep that traditional black, wet carbon look than get it x-coated.

Carbon hoods move a lot on the highway. However they dont fail very often. Unless they are not latched properly.

I had aero catch hoodpins and had the factory latch as well.

The factory latch did its job and kept the hood from flying into the windshield. One aerocatch survived  One aero catch broke.
