I've always wondered this because, unfortunately where I live I have poor fuel quality, and it tends to give me some feedback knock to go with it, and im almost certain my DAM is fluctuating due to it. I'm just interested in whether a protune will help with that or not, especially because I plan on modifying.

Fuel is one of the variables a tuner will adjust for.

If you only have lower quality fuel in your usual travels, then you absolutely want to have that poor quality fuel in the tank when you tune it. You will have lower horsepower numbers for sure, but it will be safe and custom for your setup.
