Feel somewhat bad for him, but that needed to happen.

At least Mike can win.  He wins most of the time hence why he is able to get a job wherever he goes.  I like MacT but his time was up and it was time to make some changes.

If the Oilers were smart, they'd go after Dave Lowry: he'd be great with a young team, just look at what he's done with the Hitmen (which Kisio couldn't do).  Hopefully he has some Calgary loyalty!  I (not so) secretly want him as a Flames head coach.

Mike wins, but he has an extremely talented team playing "stand and wait" hockey, and they certainly haven't looked inspired in the second half, here.

Plus Keenan's been a dick to Kiprusoff (sp) often this year.

I'm holding back my excitement over the MacT thing until I see who they replace him with. I just hope it's not out of the frying pan and into the fire.

I hope it's not Marc Crawford as he's the harbinger of death.

Still won't help oiler fans as none of the best players want to play in Edmonton..a la Pronger.

Pronger had too much fun impregnating the local womenz reporters.
It was "suggested" he leave, by his wife, I believe.

Edmonton's a great hockey city to play in, but if the organization isn't winning and has coaching issues... well, why would you want to play there? It's a step in the right direction to being able to lure top end talent.

Heh, drove by his house last night, he's still in the area.
They're going to park their car over there. You're going to park your car over here. Get it?

i don't think mac T was not a good fit for this team. we need a super strict coach or an awesome teacher to get more production from this team
