Big Rock Lime is so much better. And i think ten bucks cheaper per 12 case compared to Bud Light Lime.
And not as Limey which was a plus for me. Might as well support the local guys too

Total agreement. It's 99 percent beer and 1 percent lime... the way it should be.

I had some last night at Blarney Stone south. I thought it tasted like someone pissed in a can of sprite. Someone said it's like $30 bucks a case or something?!?

Oh yes, I tried it at BP's.   $6 for a bottle!!!!!!!!!!!! HOLY RIP OFF BATMAN.  I won't pay more for $2 for it.
Just can't find either in a liquor store yet.

Its actually really starting to bug me that there is so much hype for it. I've seen a few liquor stores with signs that specifically say 'We do not have any Bud Light Lime'
They're only selling it for so much now cause people are paying it. Or they're smart and have realized that come October they aren't going to be selling any because who wants to drink that in the winter.
GO AWAY BUD LIGHT LIME!! You came, you saw, and Canada still did it better. Cheers to Big Rock

I wonder if nintendo had anything to do with their marketing and launch... seems this is stuff is as hard to find as wii's were 3 years ago...

...but seriously, After extensive research (3 cases of this deadly limy concoction since last Wednesday) I find it is a lighter beer with a "sprite" type of taste which only adds to the fatal possibility of drinking several too many while either floating down the bow, or trying to squeeze in 9 holes on a Friday afternoon when you should be at work to be a dangerous situation.

I give 4 out of 5 stars... now's where's my water...?

PS. They have a ton of this stuff and the Big Rock Lime at the Liquor store behind the Radisson hotel on 16th ave NE. I'll be conducting the Big Rock market analysis for the remaining Stampede 'adventures' this week.

To me it just tasted like the lime flavor gummy-candy things. I swear it's not beer.

For those who liked it I suggest you try "fruli". It's a strawberry based beer.

Almost any store that has strange imported beers.  Here, we have solo liqour that has been good to us.

It's a belgium white beer brewed with strawberry. Not bad, not my cup of tea though.

Does it have floaty/yeasty bits in it though? Having that in beer is just gross imo.

I've thought about trying that stuff.

There is this stuff that co-op liquor store used to sell. I think it's seasonal. It's raspberry beer called something like E'phemiere or something. It's really good, and filtered so no floaty yeasty bits.

As far as fruity beer though, I have NEVER had anything come close to the Grizzly Paw's (in Canmore) raspberry beer. It's amazing. Actually most of their beer is pretty good. They have their own microbrewery and make it.

I went searching for this BL Lime stuff and only found it in cans... and one cashier said that the bottled version is better then the cans. i always buy beer in bottles.

I bought one can ( open case ) and just tried some and not bad. Anyone know places in Edmonton ( south side ) that have it for sale ( in stock ) in bottles? one place said probably 2 weeks he was told by his Labatts rep till more is on shelves

I bought a case of Big Rock Lime too and will try that. Still want to try the BLL in bottles.....

I found some yesterday in bottles.

Sherbrook? Liquor store at 118 ave and St Alb Tr traffic circle... place that sells every kind of beer in the world.

They never had it up front ( they had cans up front ), but when I asked if they had it in bottles, he went in the back and got me 2 cases. it is pretty good, have to do a taste test between Big Rock Line and this one on a hot summer day.

+27 today! lol

Bought 4 cases of Big Rock Lime today... cause it's that damn good.

Actually, a bottle of the Big Rock paired with a Habanos Siglo III cigar is the perfect match.  I tried the same cigar with a Bud Light... worst aftertaste ever.

BLL has become an alternative for bottled water in my house.

It's also the only other form of payment I'll accept for 'subie goods'

FWIW: I've found this stuff on sale back home (Ft. Sask) for about $17/case of 12. Bit more than water, but sooo much more effective.

lmao.

Big Rock lime isn't very limey at all. Miller and BLL seem to be the same. There's this awesome Fusion brand lime beer which I think tops the list.

This. Plus it's cheaper than BLL, well here in sauageville anyway.

What about Big Rock's new Grasshopper Lime Light?  More importantly, when will Bud 4 be in Cold Lake?
You aren't mistaken; this post was solid gold.

100% agree...I always go for the Big Rock Lime over any of the other ones.
