If the sea was vodka, and I was a duck.
I would swim to the bottom, and drink my way up.
But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.

Farewell luu

6 years.

When i bought this car i had never gone under a car to do so much as an oil change.  I had never heard of autocross and never knew that part of owning a turbo subaru meant learning to be a part time mechanic.  This car went through two motors, six different suspensions, many sets of tires.  She took me to my first autocross, a few autocross schools and finally the ice racing school.  I now feel confident enough to tackle most jobs on most cars and I would never have developed this skill set if it hadnt been for luu.   At the end of it all I'm sad to see the car go.

But there is something far more important to me then these skills.  This car has a soul.  And even though its unlikely that most people outside of the car community will understand that, its pretty easy to explain in my books.  Something that you put work into, that you build and spend time on that has both heartache and joy ultimately has a soul.  Luu had a soul.  But I think the biggest reason Luu had a soul is because of the people that worked with me on her.  Much more important to me then the car is the lasting friendships I've build with members of WSC, who's friendship now extends far beyond just cars.   WSC is the reason why I kept her for a long as did.  So thank you to everyone who worked with me on this project over the years, including those who just drank beer and made fun of my popeye forearms.

You make WSC great.

Fin.

That's a pretty cool video man, can tell you loved that car a lot. Looks like quite the journey.
