Congrats on the purchase..
We have a swp '14 XT also, and couldn't be happier.

Couple things. The sports grill is expensive, and I wasn't really sold on the look, so I plastidipped the chrome wings in the oem grill, and the chrome fog light surrounds, and it looks 10x better. Although mine doesn't have all the chrome around the windows like the limited does.

I went with Rally Armor. I've never had an issue with them,on any vehicle, even on the CRSOPNR, which sees heavier than normal gravel use.

Don't get weathertechs.  on the 2014 Forester the weathertechs don't cover behind the gas pedal, so a lot of gravel/snow/water/etc, will fall between the floormats and firewall. I went with Husky liners.

I did the interior LED swap through Diode, and happy with them so far. The only thing I don't like, is the hatch light (or lack of usable light). but that's a subaru design issue more than anything.

I almost ordered the LED Accent lights, just haven't got around to it yet, and I never noticed those mirror piece before.

I wasn't sold on the CVT initially, but after driving it for 4 months, I wouldn't have it any other way. SI drive makes up for it.

WooT, thanks for the input I'll have to reconsider some of my options. It's nice to see someone else has one on the forums

I will most likely go through dynamic diode as well since they seem to a popular brand among the forums.

Accent lighting will take some considering as well, JDM OEM ones are around $500+shipping from Japan, as oppose to eBay ones that are like $150-200 (get what you pay for??)

The plastidip is sticking good on the grill wings, not so good on the fog bezels, but I'm pretty sure it was too cold when I sprayed them, and didn't put enough coats on. Some of the guys on sf.org were wrapping their chrome in vinyl (either black of carbon fiber look).

My only fitment problem with the Ra's was because I was too lazy to remove the rear tires for the install. But I'll fix that when I put the summer rims/tires on.

I will be watching your upgrade path with interest as well.  I'm definitely considering getting one of these soon.  I'm interested to see if Cobb comes up with an AP for it, and what kind of exhaust options there will be.  I personally like the sports grille option, and will probably go that way.  I also like RallyArmours as well.

From what I've read, any exhaust that fits the 2014 WRX sedan will fit the 2014 Forester XT.  I am not sure how quad tips will fit though. 

I'm excited to see what Cobb does with the AP.  Now that the WRX uses the same engine, it'll only be a matter of time.

Yup, I believe others have confirmed that 09+  wrx/sti sedan will fit on the new SJ but for quad tips you have to trim the bumper for it to work. A heat gun and a razor blade

I really do hope Cobb brings in a AP and other products for the FA engine, always been a fan of their goods.

So I got a call this morning and my salesmen informed me that my car is currently in Calgary and that they should have the car tomorrow. It took a week and a half to get here from Vancouver =_= but hopefully the wait will be worth it!!

Don't do what I did (rooky mistake) and fry your BIU by shorting the circuit for the door courtesy lights. Don't use a metal pry tool and it's better if you disconnect the bulb housing when you do the swap. You need to check the polarity of the LED but don't swap it live.

Nope, I went to the dealership and asked them whats going on.... Salesperson told me that the truck had "broken" down in Calgary and that I should have it by Wednesday March 19, 2014. So I was like WTF I don't have a car now that I sold it to my brother and the car was suppose to be here over the weekend, so I asked them for a loaner and they gave me a 2014 Forester 2.5i to play with in the mean time.

I hope it's not because they have to fix some cosmetic damage from the truck transport.  This time of year is bad for stone chips, etc.  I'd give it a really good look over before you drive away.
