Any updates on this? Did you end up going with some wider rear flares?

went a little mia for a while there sorry guys haha.  basically just went winter mode and decided to cut a little more of the fender out in the rear to reduce the rubbing. also, two days ago a bus driver decided it was a good idea to side swipe my car (in the middle of me and my girlfriend breaking up no less haha) effectively denting/scraping the entire left side and  tearing off my fender flares i had to order and paint. ive been a little disheartened so haven't gotten around to checking for any other damage yet. alignment seems a bit off now.  hopefully this one isnt a write off too. some bad luck with subarus thus far. some plans as of now however are deciding whether or not to keep this as my dd. if not im somewhat tempted to throw a cage in it,  just weld the rear doors shut so i dont need to worry about cutting the rear fenders again to fit, weld the centre diff, and go drifting haha

im obviously leaning more towards keeping jessica as my dd but does anyone have a shop in mind that could carry out the custom work? i did a decent job but maybe this is a bit of a blessing in disguise to have it done really well this time

sadly I didn't get around to taking any pics with my actual camera before the snow started falling and i needed to throw on the skinny stealies I have and then January 7th is when the bus hit me so its not exactly in show car state right now. still dealing with insurance. It's a bad situation since i need it by march and the odds of a body shop getting the work done by then are slim to none so it might end up being a write off (6000 dollar damage on an 8000 dollar car, it should have been anyway). And i probably wouldn't go through the work again. Will definately miss the widebody looks though  :( here's the last pic i took on the summer set up
