easy additions
« on: November 01, 2014, 04:09:04 pm »
Im knew to the aftermarket world, but on my 4th subaru. I currently own a 2013 3.6R legacy...love it, but a little more umph or quicker response would be nice. Any easy addons that would give me that umph or speed up my response that arent gonna be costly?

The 3.6R is pretty powerful on it's own. I'm not sure how well it would respond to something simple like a CAI or an exhaust.

Based on this link, it sounds like there's not many performance mods to be gained (unless you build/turbo the motor)

You'll likely get more enjoyment out of it by looking at things like suspension.
If the sea was vodka, and I was a duck.
I would swim to the bottom, and drink my way up.
But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.
If you're having forum problems, I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems but your post ain't one.

Yup, what LDS said.  There's not much to do with n/a's short of forced induction.

How about easy deletions?  Intake resonator delete will make it growl under WOT.  Not a performance mod but it won't cost a dime and I can imagine a 6cyl would sure sounds nice on the intake side.  Other things to delete?  Weight savings?
