The more things change, the more they stay the same:

Everything was too short:

Well, not everything, but lots of things:

Now for some cameraphone pics!

It was patio/t-shirt weather:

Ahhh, good old coke!

What the duce?

Only nice car in Macau, which was otherwise "the home of rice"...  I saw so many Lancer "evo"s with drum brake in the rear...  and no fmic. <!-- s:P --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" title="Razz" /><!-- s:P -->

Nai-cha? (milk tea)

Forget that, she'll just drink the milk & sugar!

A common sight:

Ocean park?

Amusement park food?

Best breakfast ever!

"Soy Milk" and "Sticky Rice Roll - Chi Fan" ha ha, those are the best breakfast for sure.
I used to have those a lot in my high school years back there.

Glad that you enjoy your trip and the 24 kinds herbal tea...

Nice Defi collection you have there too! 8-)

Yea, that was very odd to me... Since I'm hardly in the top percentile of height here in North America, but *there* I darn well stuck out of the crowds. :P

That Coke Better have been in China.. cause it is in simplified Chinese and not the traditional that HK used to use before taking over....

Wow, +1 for Ripley.  That was in ShenZhen, just barely into China.  ;)

And HK still seems to be completely traditional Chinese for all the signs + writing.  Even official offices like the Identity card office.
