Hey guys i'm glad to be back in Alberta! Some may remember me last year when I was around for a bit with my 98 Legacy wagon but now I have a new one!

2005 Legacy GT Wagon!

Think is the first picture I ever took of it with at friends WRX

First Mod was a COBB SF Intake

Then I snagged some STi Genome Mufflers off of ebay (Bad pic I know, I am linking off of my facebook cause I lost my pictures :( )

The Plan

Dont want to make this wagon as hardcore as my old one. Want to keep it pretty mild for daily driving and also try some Auto-X next summer.

Thanks for taking the time for looking and hoping to have a great time with the Subaru Club in the future!

Weird, I have the SPT version (same as Gnome but no marking on tip) on my RS and it is pretty loud most of the time. I love it but I definately know its there. There is a very large noise difference between my wifes Forester with stock exhaust and my RS with the SPT.

Love the look of the car. Great job!

actually the SPT and STi Genomes are even close to being the same exhaust.

Depending on your year of SPT exhaust its made by Bosal or AEM

Also NA cars will be louder then turbo ones :)

Nice set of cans on your baby!

They're going to park their car over there. You're going to park your car over here. Get it?

And nice mufflers too.
This car is more fun than the entire French air force crashing into a firework factory.

thanks.

But you can see in the last picture where my lights are on that the deeper rock chips are still there.

That will require some wet sanding i'm guessing but atleast the lenses are clear again :)

Man, that really sucks. Best of luck getting it sorted with insurance.

Do you think they will replace the exhaust with another set of Genome's?

my insurance is great, I was setup with a rental car in no time.

I dont think so cause these genomes for legacys are super rare but fortunetly they dont look damaged at all. Most of the damage is from the y-pipe seperating

Those last pictures make me sad =(
If the sea was vodka, and I was a duck.
I would swim to the bottom, and drink my way up.
But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.

so crawled under it after work today. So far all suspension parts seem to be in the right position, sub frame looks fine. Only damage I saw was that one of the hangers on one of the mufflers was bent. that rear side underneath the bumper is a little crunched too but nothing looks too structural. Just waiting on an advisor from my insurance company to get his assay over here to give us the green light on the repairs.
