I made a DIY on how to change your cluster lights  climate control lights, pretty basic stuff, my blitz boost gauge had lights in the back that can be changed so showed how to do that too

first time narrating after filming and it was harder than i thought, next time i'll have to write a script lol

enjoy

Everyone should do this. Super easy and completely changes how the car looks.

I only kinda skimmed the video cause I've already done this mod, but it seems pretty damn comprehensive. Nicely done!
Speed never killed anyone. Suddenly becoming stationary, that's what gets you.

stupid question but isnt the gauge cluster film green also? does the red still show thru without changing too much color?   red looks soo much better then the green..

I mostly skimmed too and saw that you were using hot glue and this totally confused me haha.  So I went back and I'm specifically looking at the climate controls and I don't understand what you've done.  Are you using bigger bulbs and resting the metal contacts onto the copper area and then glueing it??  That's a little crazy if so, imagine removal heh.

Here's a DIY I wrote up if anyone is interested.  At the top you can see a pic of T5 Neo bulbs, those go right in there.  However I am unhappy with the crappy shade of blue as I only know of one ebay seller that had them at the time.  I haven't looked into it in a long time so maybe there are better ones out there:

I'm willing to bet on it.
I'm pretty sure most clusters look the same in the back.  Or you might have to disassemble a plastic piece but you'll have the same types of bulbs and twist in connectors.

the 98-01 clusters have a green film on the back of the gauges.
that has to be taken off before you get any good color other than green through the cluster

I'm not 100% sure but I think it's like a film that has to be scraped off, there's a DIY on rs25.com for the 98-01 cluster

I think you can use nail polish remover and a cue tip but maybe not, works on other cars with some kind of coating.
Good luck.
