Boost gauge only reads vacuum?

I installed an AEM digital boost gauge the other day and it seems to only be reading vacuum, no boost. I wired it to the 12v behind my stereo and the vacuum line itself is T'd in I'm assuming the correct line. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

What did you tee into?

The line going to the bov is the usual.

You might have accidentally tee'd into a line that has a check valve so it doesn't receive boost (Like an emissions /pcv line, or the brake booster)

So I should have tee'd into the green line rather than the red? EJ20G btw

Yes. This is how mine is attached, i don't think it matters what engine. I hooked it up the same way on my friend's evo x as well
