Where you streaming from? TSN?

Yea, pulled it up on Optik. TSN2. Surprised they had it. TSN has been pretty good for coverage of most sessions I've found. Set the PVR to record, blast it all. Which reminds me, I need to
do that.

Kimi shows up to practice forgetting he's not in a Top 3 car. Really hoping that Alfa/Sauber is the best of the rest.

He’s trying to get in sync with those new front wings.

Sooooo I wonder how long Bottas can keep that kind of performance up.

On the opposite end of the spectrum... Kubica comeback was ... not as hoped.  :-[

In good news, that midfield TOIGHT. I love it.

Kubica Ricciardo comeback was ... not as hoped.  :-[

"I want 26 points"

And then taking fastest lap back from Verstappen in the final 2 laps.

Speaking of which, that Honda...

Yeah, that midfield. What was it, 5 cars within 7 seconds? Or vice versa? Loved how it took Norris so many attempts to pass Giovannici, but Grossjean cuts through him like butter. Granted, Gio's tires are worn out by that time.  RIP Grossjean. Looked like a bunch of wankers.

One thing the Netflix series did for me was, it made me really want everyone to do well.

Except Verstappen. He sucks.

Loving the mid field. Disappointed about Ricciardo. I'm happy the Honda engine is doing well in Red Bull. I'd like to see that keep up, and maybe see Gasly get some damn points. Also really impressed with Haas, aside from, you know, ittshay pit stops that are race-ending. Poor Grosjean.

Ricciardo.

Ricciardo eh...

Red Bull.

Red Bull eh...

I will admit, I'm way more interested in the midfield after the netflix series.

Yeah, I have that same Redbull jacket. And a Redbull Ricciardo hat. I also have the Mclaren Japan special edition hat.
Good to know about the Renault hat. I'm far more excited for the mid-field this year. And Gasly. He's essentially midfield, right?

Man I really thought Ricciardo would be pushing the Renault car to limits (and beyond) but he can't even keep up with Nico.
Either he needs WAY more practice or the renault chassis really does suck that bad.

I think it shows you how close the field really is when it comes to driver skill.

Gotta feel for Charles, he drove an awesome race. Loved hearing Valtteri after the race saying he’ll never be giving Lewis any extra room haha glad to see he’s got a fire lit under him so far this year.

Charles really is a great talent - I think he's going to be much more dominant than Max over the next several years. Lewis genuinely seemed blown away by the pace Leclerc had. It was almost like he was excited to see a new rival arrive.

So many ups and downs in this race.  Also got to feel for Grossjean.  I hope he stays on top of things and keeps his confidence but you could see in his body language in that slow-mo garage walk, absolutely deflated.

As one who has this irrational hate on Verstap, I thought Stroll unlapping himself was hilarious.  Also went full on Praise Mother Mary Ella Simmons for the safety car at the end because I'll be darned if he took third.  #RIPRenault

I hope you're right.  He's also much more humble and has endured suffering in his life, which on the karma scale makes [me] want to root for Leclerc.  That said, it was nice of Verstap to throw a thumbs up to Leclerc before doing donuts.

It was too bad to see Bottas not keep up with Ham, but I did enjoy the squabble at the start.

On a change of pace, here's a fantastic video to introduce the rookies.  The banter between them is so natural and human.  "We don't race them, they lap us." "You lapped me."  Gah.

@3:03

"Are we OK with the fuel?"
"We are not at the moment.  We are not OK with fuel"

No wonder he was coasting so much at the end :O

@2:36 Verstappen loses the rear and spins out, while his engineer calls him out on it and says, "We don't need donuts on our race box." LOL

I've always been kind of rooting for Grosjean, but he's had several seasons to prove himself and all he's shown is that he's inconsistent and when he gets off track, it's REALLY hard to get him back on song. I honestly think if Mick Schumacher performs well in F2, he will replace Grosjean by mid-2019 at Haas, while being retained in Ferrari's driver program.

Yeah, I feel like Grosjean has had tonnes of opportunities to un-uckfay himself, and he keeps uckfaying up. Not sure if Schumacher is right for that seat yet, but there's gotta be better options...

Well, I guess I'm fully on board now, regardless of any ittshay performance.

Baku was a strategic race, but there's nothing really strategic about reversing into someone in a parking lot.
