Hahaha, just a bit of caster I think! A big lift would solve it too but the stock setup + 265's AT/X just crams in there so tight!! When it was wet / raining the other day it was so squeaky ;D

Have a little gopro footage of them rubbing I'll post soon it's kinda neat

Ya you are pretty much at the factory limit as far as wheel offset and tire size go with minor trimming and cutting. I am sort of at the same spot but avoiding the permanent mods and hoping the lift solves it all.

You own a truck? Cause I though you just owned the same econobox twice, in different colours? ;)

His WRX can be considered a truck.  At least, if you go back a few years, it was a truck.  Now it's X-Runner vibes.

Tall doesn't mean truck. It still needs to be useful.

Payload capacity of his car is not much less than a Tacoma.

2007 Subaru Impreza WRX GVWR = 4211lbs. My truck weighs 3227lb so the marth works out to 984lb for payload...?

Trucks don't need to be tall or useful!

Initial thoughts on the first drive home with the new tires. I had expected them to be way louder on the road but was surprised how smooth and quiet they were...

Here we go, now I'm a bit more organized LOL...

The truck bed light comes with LED's, but literally every other bulb on the truck came factory with incandescent yellow bulbs!! A little disappointing but I guess it's a cost savings for Toyota haha.. :thumbsdow

Swapped out for some new white LED's because I'm a fan of the color temp and added brightness! If you've got a few mins. to leave a comment on my new video I'd be very thankful for that!

When I got the new tires installed they were rubbing pretty bad when turning. I finally got sick of it last night and decided to see if I remove the mudflaps if it would help or not, (we didn't think it would be enough space), but to my surprise it seems to have been just enough and now there's no more rub!! Pretty stoked about that, I wish I had done it sooner ;D

To be honest I would try and melt that thing in with a heat gun before removing them. I would also probably rather hear some rubbing once in a while than have no mud flaps and watch my paint slowly flake away.
The 3 is raw.  Lighter than more agile.  The 6 probably feels like a 747.  And by that contrast, my STI probably feels like the Hindenburg.  So GR's are like the International Space Station.

Everyone takes these front flaps off because if you go on any of the trails, they scrape and they’re hard plastic so they end up breaking or damaging other stuff in the fender liner there. Most people actually cab chop straight frame to fit 33’s hahaha. But, with these tires, these flaps are useless anyways, they exceed past the flap and throw mud dirt etc up regardless! Luckily Toyota has different paint and quote a few layers at the bottom side of the doors and sides. I’ll see if I can get a good pic of what that looks like because it’s pretty cool they did such a thing.

I hate following trucks with removed mudflaps on deerfoot.
