Note to others: These are all magnetic decals so we DO NOT run them on the street.

Speak for yourself Jason, most of mine are vinyl and a permanent mobile ad for my sponsor!!! :)

I was speaking for Grant and I ! Civics are pure rice anyways, stickers are expected. Especially the ones on yours that SCREAM performance and hp. Mortgage company ? Financial Services ? Can't remember.

I will probably have one permanent one on the back window. I kind of told Whiteline
I would run a rear window banner.

I was thinking of getting stickers made for under customers cars. After I do an alignment or corner balance place it on
the subframe or oil pan.

Something like "Performance Alignment by Jason...Don't $%@! it up!" Just a note to the next alignment tech who
sees angles in the red and decides to "make it right".

Well, I'm back!

And trying to recall how I did at the RX-7 club auto-x...  I know it was fun, though.

I did end up going to the P1HPDE "Track Attack" (ie. lapping evening) on the 7th, it was fun & I saw a lot of the same familiar faces from Albertas "Motorsports Scene".

My poor car was then parked, with it's spongey brakes & all, while I headed away on vacation to see the Montreal F1 race, and to see family in Toronto.

I missed the ASA Regional auto-x event, damn.  Ever since I've been on the committee, I've failed to attend my own big event. :(

I got back @ 2100hrs on Saturday, rushed to go see a friend's band play and then to bed.

On Sunday there was the ASA Challenge Cup, it's a team event where you make a team of four & your combined best time is your teams time, there's even cash prizes!

My team won the RAW (outright time, no adjustments for PAX) category!

(here's my team mate putting a cone mark on my bumper)

Tonight, it's off to the P1HPDE Time Attack @ Stratotech!  My brakes are bled, the car feels good!

(68 auto-x runs & one HPDE on these tires so far)

So I'm sad to have not seen more "familiar faces" out at the P1HPDE Time Attack last night!

$80 for an evening of lapping would be a good deal, even without the timing/competition.  8)

My freshly bed brakes stood up a bit better, but the HPS are just evaporating, they are *not* sufficient for the track, so I'm deciding if I'll go to HP+ for daily/autox/track or if I should get a set of blues/DTC-60, etc for track & use the HPS for daily/autox. (As you can see from the post above this. ;))

Still waiting for them to post the results, but based on the printouts after each session I didn't quite get down to my goal of a 70.x and was hovering in the 71.x range.  Not *too* bad for my first timed event @ Stratotech (and only my 2nd time there in my car) but still not where I set the goal posts.

You should look at the Carbotech pads for track use. The reason I say this is if your intention is to swap pads, the Carbotech formulas are all compatible so you can use the same rotors for your street and track pads.

Well... Looks like I have another *full* weekend planned.

ASA Auto-x on Sat the 26th.
CSCC Auto-x @ Deerfoot mall on the 27th!

When CSCC got the Deerfoot mall venue they decided to increase the minimum # of events needed for their championship.  That means I can't complete their championship by only driving as far as Red Deer!  :-\

Oh well, anyone from E-town wanna convoy down on Sunday morning?

I don't plan on driving for the 27th, unless someone wants to pay my fees, however I may come spectate as long as I'm done moving that weekend.
If the sea was vodka, and I was a duck.
I would swim to the bottom, and drink my way up.
But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.

Next ones after that = July 3rd & 4th in Red Deer. (Which pretty much the entire E-town crew'll be at)

Next ones at Deerfoot mall = July 18th & 24th. (Which I won't be at due to an ASA event & Edmonton Indy conflicts)

I can probably do the 3rd, the 4th is a Solo1 day. The 18th and 24th look good too.

Grant if you want to come down Saturday night you are welcome to stay in our guest room.
As long as you aren't afraid of my 55lb puppy.

Registration is filling up fast. Already 40+ drivers ! I should really drive over and look at the lot today,
apparantly its pretty small. But I don't see it being smaller than Westerner.

With the ASA event on Sat I don't see how that would be *that* much more relaxing... It's still an event + a drive.

Cool offer, I'll keep it in mind! :D  (You just want a 3rd Subaru parked @ your place, eh?)

Or smaller than Griesbach.

From amount of vehicles parked and most room with out obstacles, I'd say closest to the highway.

So, the first 1/2 of my "weekend of auto-x" is done, and what a day...  I didn't have a single run that didn't have a cone!  And I wasn't the only one, there was something "odd" about the course today...

Oh well, got my 100 points in the ASA championship, and my 10 points in the WSC motorsports challenge!

Now to get ready for the trip to Calgary tomorrow morn!

(75 auto-x runs, one HPDE and one time attack on these shaved tires so far)

Excuses.
Lots of people had cone free runs. I believe FTD was cone free.
Just drive better.
