Man, how do you guys keep your desks so clean?

I just completely changed my whole setup, including getting all the network hardware off my desk. Laura hid all the itshay I normally store on it.

But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.

Out of curiocity, why did you choose to use the bottom PCI slot? Some motherboards slot four isn't even wired to x16 (usually x8) and others aren't directly connected to the CPU directly, they're controlled by a Pci controller instead.

i'm assuming this is the board you have.

No reason at all I'm just lazy to move it ;D (and I know the top is 0.1% faster, but like 130fps in COD is fine enough for me to stay lazy).

I just re-arranged mine and had all my extra junk on my coffee table. It's already a bit of a mess.

Thanks again funk32 for the Noctua NH-U12s.

Currently have the Ryzen 5 2600 overclocked to 4.1GHz and 1.4V and its stable with temps not exceeding 68 degrees C.

Those systems are looking good, I will have to post mine when I get home and clean up my desk.  The wife got me a new case so it looks good now.

You guys are lucky you were not dealing with the first release of Ryzen, dear god was memory support so much worse. For the longest time I could only run it at like 29xx.  But now daily gaming and use I can run the memory at the 3200, but depending on the game if I try to run OBS and stream at the same time that would crash the system, I haven't bothered to figure out yet what would be stable while streaming since I don't do it as often anymore.

Best part of this system is how warm my room gets :D

PC Specs

Case - Corsair 570x
Motherboard - ASUS Crosshair VI Hero
CPU - AMD Ryzen 7 1700 oc 3.8 ~1.275v ish  I just remember its sub 1.3v
CPU Cooler - Corsair H150i
Ram - G.Skill Ripjaws V 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200
Video Card - Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080
Boot Drive - Samsung Evo 960 M.2
Storage Drive - Too many to list XD  Really need some new large storage drives, photos stored in RAW take a lot of space
Power Supply - Corsair TX750M V1

After 10 years using my old PC (thanks pee_sack for hookkng me up) is time for an upgrade.

Old: intel xenon E3110, 8gb ram, Asus pk5e mobo

New: amd ryzen 5 2600, 16gb ddr4 3000, msi x470 pro carbon and to top it off a WD black m.2 500gb... 3400MB/s!!

This is not a high end rig but it will drag my assay in to this decade. Going from usb 2.0 to 3.0 will be nice.  Going from sata 3gb/s to the NVMe will be crazy.

this little guy showed up while I was in Japan...

also, stubbornly follow the recommended length of time to use a fluid for lol FML, had to strip all the blocks/res and clean the rads which took me ALL DAY lol. I didn't realize the fluid was for demonstration purpose only and should be removed after 2 weeks until after it was in and I was reading the box lol. It was in there for a month or more because I was lazy and didnt swap it out before I went on vacation. totally my fault.

I was super stoked of the idea of 2x 1080 ti, until I realized it was 850 each.

Are those front fans RGB? You could probably squeeze out a few more FPS with some more RGB.  :P
But seriously, looks good man!

After I made that comment I was thinking about how you display your case and RGB fans in front wouldn't be shown off. I have LED fans in the front of mine and I like the look but I also have my case facing a different direction.

I might have a problem or I like to find deals.....

The 1080ti puts out a lot of heat and this case doesn't give me much options for a solid intake strategy. Hmmmm.
