Right, but he's in Surrey, BC. So if he buys it from you... it's still shipped.

Maybe he bought it from Rocket Rally? I mean if you're going to support a local shop, why not one that's... local?

But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.

True... comparing to RSD, however; on sites like evasive and TF your not so competitive. e.g.. $190.00 r26 neo, $215 r40 neo.

And just to clarify. This is not a bash at Jimmy, But im getting sick of this sticky tires guy always making comments about vex when there are better deals out there. Although they are not local and may not be as convenient as getting products straight from vex.

We'd also quote Vex prices to show how competitive it is, but... Vex doesn't post prices on their site.

How bought we keep this thread about "Parts Pictures", not "who sells what parts for the cheapest"?

That's a great idea.

I like that idea. Not just for VEX, but all the vendors.

Sorry for posting what i know? Ive only really promoted jimmys tunes,  never vex as a whole. And as for the lugs,  i happened to see them there when i was in calgary and asked ryan about them so i figured i would let everyone know. Apparently you needed someone to scape goat when youre clearly calling vex out on their advertizing.

Edit: i didnt even say anything about pricing or whether vex was a good deal or not.

Damn, I didn't even know this thread existed! Sneaky sneaky.

Well I believe our pricing is reasonable on everything. If you find it elsewhere for cheaper and can show that to me, we're always willing to to take a look and try our best to match. So since you showed me TF and Evasive, lets take a look and see all the charges that are involved from buying international.

Lets compare the 12x1.5 Neo Chros, in locking.
On TF's site, if you select thread pitch 1.5 and locking type in the drop down menus, the price goes up to $234.95. I tried to ship online and it won't let me ship international through the website.
I decided to give TF a call to get a shipping cost. Since the product is shipping from Illinois you're still paying brokerage and duty. Express international (USPS) was estimated at $36-37, ground $20.

So lets say you ship it air (which includes brokerage) and still have to pay 6% duty (made in japan).

$234.95 * 1.06 = $249.05 + $37 = $286

Exchange rate today is 1.0541 -- Source: http://www.tdcanadatrust.com/fx/rates.jsp

286 * 1.0541 = $301.47

On top of that TF is backordered and doesn't know how long it's going to take to get them in stock. Seems like a better deal to me to buy from me, since they're in stock and cheaper.

At Evasive, 12x1.5 locking type sells for $286 on their website. I'm not even going to bother calculating the other charges because it's already more expensive to buy from them.

I learnt a long time ago that you can always find it cheaper someplace else...100% always.  The key however though is this.  If you have a warranty issue do you want to deal with some guy online or take it to the place you bought it in person to get it fixed or replaced.  Next is if you do not support the local market, and buy your stuff else where(online), when you need them they will either have ceased to exist, or know that you are not supporting them entirely, and you will get the service you so deserve.

If a shop doesn't want your business because you didn't buy a set of lug nuts through them, that shop is pissing away an opportunity over something trivial.
