Your Favourite Bakery
« on: June 09, 2014, 10:57:45 pm »
In a last minute quest to find amazing cookies while I'm in Edmonton this week, I figured why not mix is in with your reviews of your favourite bakeries.

So let's have. Where is your go to bakery for your favourite cookies, cakes, doughnuts, pastries and other sweet sweet deliciousness?

In Calgary, Jelly Modern Doughnuts for... doughnuts.

Yamato Dessert Cafe for anything cake related(French style cakes made by a genius old Japanese gentlemen).

Rustic Sourdough Bakery & Deli for everything else. Breads other breads and pastries.

No wonder I'm overweight haha.

Ive tried Rustic... and I think you need to check out Sidewalk Citizen Bakery. Aviv Fried is the baker and he makes the best sourdough bread Ive ever had.

Thanks guys. I'll give The Duchess a try.

If you're there around noonish then yeah, I can stop by. I still haven't checked out Local 124 yet.
