Don't do it

Make up your mind!

LOL

Actually Chase. I think the way to go is just to find really good wheel fitment and meaty tires with nice amount of low. The lip and side skirt/spats too. So crean.

That's what I'm thinking.
The nice part about the car is it came with the stock lip kit on the whole car. I just need to order some side skirt extensions and front urethane lip.
I've got the wheels and tires, 18x8 w/ 225/40R18 Nitto NT555's.
Suspension is on, just need to tweak come spring..

More so interested now in what engine mods I can do to proling ringlands/rodknock...
I don't think these had the inline oil filters.. I should probably check that.

Timing belt definitely needs to be done soon here just out of age. Want to look at adding an aluminum rad, and then get a tune done probably by airboy.

Would you do timing belt yourself? I'll help you film if so. Would be a very good video for the channel!

Always do them myself! Just need to get the tool that holds the cam gear in place. I'm always super sketched out with the valves clashing if it slips.
Or an extra set of hands, that helps too!

Ended up changing the spark plugs and cleaning the MAF @ 53,500miles on Mar 15th, 2018.
Put in a set of LFR7AIX plugs gapped to 0.027.
Car feels good, not a huge noticeable difference, but they were definitely in need of changing.

I forgot how much of a pain in the assay it is to work around the air injection pump system on these when doing plugs.

So I decided to install the dynamax muffler I purchased, and everything was going great!
Slapped it in, fit up the exhaust, and the resonator is just TOO BEEEG! So it made contact with the driveshaft.
So I ended up taking the STi midpipe that Tim graciously let me keep, and got Ravi @ Minute Muffler to weld up a Y pipe and some tips.

So I have sound clips from all 3 exhausts.

1:12
6:06
8:33

So far I loved the sound of the exhaust with the Dynamax muffler, however it was still quite obnoxious.
The stock midpipe and muffler delete sounds the cleanest, low tone, deep growl.
Full straight pipe, was just too obnoxious, sounded great, but definitely didn't sound refined at all.

Incase anybody forgot how loud it was:

Well this is gone... unfortunately.
I regret it almost immediately, however.....

So onto the next!
Also, I bought a BMW, and no this isn't a "SubaRay" type deal, I actually did O0
Probably won't start a build thread because its boring.

Autotragic

But it gets me to work and back and is very comfortable  ;D

Enter poor rear wheel fitment (Already ordered spacers), and poor color choice (Deciding on wrap color)

Loved the car from the inside out, the narrowbody never grew on me.

If I was to do it again, 100% i'd do a newer bodystyle WRX, or just jump into another STi.

Keeping things in context, it'd be more of a SubaRay deal if you said you kept the WRX.

Don't tell me when you sell this one, cause I'm still sad about the forester.

Should start a pool. I claim May. It'll be gone once he can DD the miata.

Called it. May.
If the sea was vodka, and I was a duck.
I would swim to the bottom, and drink my way up.
But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.
If you're having forum problems, I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems but your post ain't one.
