Oh-itshay handle deleted.
I will be wearing a helmet in this car, so it had to be done.
Can't really do the same with the sunroof.

Of note, subaru like to change random things across models. Like for instance, using the EASIEST handle remove method in the model that likely NEVER gets modded in this way.
Why the hell wasn't the jerkmobile this easy?

Also of note, funny how you don't notice things until you get close up picture of them.
It appears that some sort of sex party has happened in the life of this forester, as made apparent by the nasty stains on the headliner.

...I don't really want to ask questions, but it does make one think.

What kind of sex party would entail the headliner getting dirtier than the seats?  :o Sounds like a steam cleaner is in your future.

I finally put the plate on.
Since this was the first one made for a fozzy, there was new equipment involved in the install.
That meant it wasn't just a "slap it on" mod like other vehicle's skidplates.

Got it all fingered out.

The world's first RA Motorsports Forester skidplate. ;)

Just an update on this project.

I plan to leave the cheesy mudflaps on, because why not.
Cobb AP is for panzys, so I'll stick with my Airboy tune.
I already have a catless DP shorty, so he stole that idea too.
And I'm going to also keep driving it. Because apparently it has to be stated that people drive cars.

...this is fun!

You also picked a manual...

Silly Grant.
The manual transmission chooses you if you are worthy.
If not, you get the leftovers which somehow congeals into a box of magic that allows your vehicle to go faster while not actually doing anything to contribute to said fastness.

Blah Blah Blah....it has to be stated that people drive cars.
...I hate life!

In my case it does need to be said, I have this bad habit of spending too much money on an STI that never gets driven.  :o
I used to drive Subaru's.

Where are the center caps for those BBSssssssssssssS?

Right here, bro.

Saw a good idea on the tubenetz, and fingered I'd try it out.
It mostly failed, but I learned some stuff that will make ver.2 much better.

Find 4 cans. Beer or some sort of soda will do. I happen to have some of these around.

Drink contents without opening the top.
Cut off the bottom, and wash them out.

Make the cap.
<imagine accurate and descriptive instructions placed here>

v.1

I didn't make the "legs" long enough, and putting the wheels on almost popped the top open as the axle shaft pushed into it.
v.1.1 (on the left) changed to account for this.

Make one to compliment each wheel on the car.
v.1 was modified to match v.1.1

Your choice on whether you leave it "au natural" or paint it some ungodly green.
I decided to do grimmspeed gold, since I have a bunch leftover.

Place on car.

Things I learned that will be changed for v.2:
Rear axles stick out further than front axles. Rear caps must be made deeper. I did not know this before I made all 4 caps the same depth to match the relatively shallow front axle stubs.
When cutting slices to account for making the can smaller (to match the 56.1 hub diameter) cut out a pie shape. Just slicing it makes overlap, which makes the wheel extremely tight on the hub, and makes install without damage difficult.
Painting is good, but... not really worth it. It just gets scraped off.

Haha, based on the number I've previously seen him drink I'd say he already had the supplies around the house. ;)

Judging by the effect energy drinks have coffee would have on a person, I'd agree with you.
