2015 Detailing Schedule / Bookings
« on: October 01, 2014, 02:28:59 pm »
Well it looks like winter is upon us soon and I will be shutting down my detailing for the winter months. My hope is come next winter I will be in a new home where I can detail year round (drain in garage, water, heated, 3 bay garage, ect.)

I typically do about 15-20 vehicles per year so I am going to start booking early. If you are interested in getting a detail booked please let me know what package you are interested in and your vehicle type/year.

I also apologize if I missed a few names as my inbox is swamped. If you want your name on the list just reply to this thread and let me know.

Multiple correction step detail for my BRZ please.
I don't name things I know I'm going to sell eventually. Hence why I'd never name any kids I had.

Yeah my plan is to do it once a year because I HATE detailing my own car.  Unless you think its overkill.

Let us know if we can convince you to come down to Calgary for a week. I'm sure we can work something out for accommodation and a work place (no wash water down the street drains).

I don't think it is overkill. I typically do a light polish every year to remove the light defects. Typically the first major detail you need to use a compound and a polish. If you maintain your vehicle properly it should only need a light polish every season. If the defects are to the point where you need to compound every year then you need to fix your wash routine otherwise you will have no paint left in a short matter of time.

I don't wash it often, but when I do its with a wash mitt only.

I will see what I can do. Might be tough to get away from work and the family for the week. Calgary and its no wash water down the street. GRRRR

If that's the case your vehicle might be in pretty good condition as it is and only require a light polish.

Possibly.  I may just be overly anal about how it looks.  Subaru paint is crap.

I didn't know this was a rule. How would one detail, if car washes boot you out for doing things by hand?

Would ONR be okay?

If you find yourself in Calgary, I'd be up for detailing.

Could use your services on my car :D

1 step correction + coating should do it for a 2014 car? just has minor swirls from the dealership

That should be more than sufficient. I can also spot compound major defects or areas of concern as well.

If you find yourself in Calgary, I'd be up for detailing.

Typically you need to go to the wand wash and spray off the large debris and then complete the vehicle using a rinseless wash. The main problem is how to properly clean the wheels, tires, and wheel wells. If I lived in Calgary I would get one of those containment ponds for vehicle to sit in.

Typical Japanese soft paint. It swirls easily but is pretty easy to correct.

Put me down for some pre show season sprucing up. 1 step (Maybe, may not be needed. Not too much in the way of swirls), and new coating for sure. I'll trust your judgement in whatever you recommend.

Your vehicle most likely just needs a polish on a finishing pad to prep it for a coating. I am guessing you want something that will really pop that black paint?

Come down to Calgary. I have 2 cars I need done, and one of them is only like... half a car.
If the sea was vodka, and I was a duck.
I would swim to the bottom, and drink my way up.
But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.
If you're having forum problems, I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems but your post ain't one.
