Nicks evo 7 daily "evo kinevil"
« on: May 01, 2016, 09:42:32 am »
Well after selling the wrx a few weeks ago i thought i could deal without having a car. Its easy to walk to and from work but the days off sucked. So i started looking to see what was out there, then i stumbled across this car. Its a 2001 evolution 7. Just arrived from japan, first canadian owner.

Its almost stock, its got headers and exhaust. I dont plan to mod this very much, bpu at most.
Farewell :(  Your exhaust was inspirational.

Congratulations on the new ride whistler01evo7! Car looks fantastic! The only thing that bothers me is that rectangular orange marker on the front fender.... The asymmetrical hood, not so much :)

We require more pictures :P

I know you were mentioning it doesn't feel as fast as the WRX, less of a boom turbo setup?

Wellbim not sure, the wrx was much lowder and may have just sounded faster. The power curve on the evo is way smoother. And the evos turbo is bigger, its the td05 16g

Haha, as opposed to driving with the windows down and not hearing all the people talking about it because the exhaust was too loud?  ;)

The wrx never got the kind of attention the evo has. People would just look at the wrx cause it was balls loud

Ive decided that the evo is faster than the wrx was.

That's not a hard feat to pull off. ;)
If the sea was vodka, and I was a duck.
I would swim to the bottom, and drink my way up.
But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.
If you're having forum problems, I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems but your post ain't one.

This car looks great.

Is this the one Mark brought in? Did you have help from FVI with the unloading and pick up?

After further inspection, going to say no.
The 3 is raw.  Lighter than more agile.  The 6 probably feels like a 747.  And by that contrast, my STI probably feels like the Hindenburg.  So GR's are like the International Space Station.

It was brought in by a company in vancouver. All i had to do is show up and pay, everything else was already taken care of

Nice car! It's cool to see that people are bringing in these sevens.

The wrx never got the kind of attention the evo has. People would just look at the wrx cause it was balls loud

As a former STi owner and current Evo 5 owner, I can definitely attest to this. No one looked twice at the STi, but the Evo breaks many necks.
