The concentric bushed effect really pulls it all together.

That's pretty dope, I didn't realize they were custom. Now I'm thinking about the other stuff I've needed over the years...

I didn't realize that either.  Pretty sweet, I love custom stuff.

Not so big on the hood and trunk though?

Yeah, those ones aren't really doing it for me. The trunk one is passable, but with the front one it makes it looks like there is just something missing.

Not that I want you to screw up a badge, but maybe if it matched the stripe? (either a colour matched roundel or colouring the M to match)

Agreed, the all silver badge is too bland.

Hmmm.  Fair thoughts.  I'm guessing it's because the "M" is really subtle,  and at times even hard to see.

I think I'll leave it for the time being and see what strikes me.  It's a damn sight better than the BMW stock roundel, and it may take me a while to see if I like the thought of changing them.

If anything, I'd likely just fill in the engraved "M" with a copper matching paint.

I think that could look really nice. It would nicely tie things together.

But like others have said, I think the sides look good, but the front and rear are lacking a little definition.

Well maybe I'll give it a try then,  but only on the front and back.  Whats the worst that can happen...  I have to remove a thimbles worth of paint.

Dope. What did you use?

I found a Duplicolor engine paint that was so close to the stripes,  I had to go for it.  I put three coats on of color and another three of a clear coat.

Here's the two of them together.  Now I have to get my other two from Edmonton and repeat the process.

That looks sort of like old-school Mopar orange which is amazing. I have never tried to use their engine paints on wheels before, only their wheel paint which seems to hold up pretty well to brake dust.

The clear I used is specific to wheels and should add some protection.

Odd question, but no. Dare I ask what I'm setting myself up for if I ask why you ask?

Nah, organic, non-GMO, Sudanese loafers. They look the same but cost 3x as much.

Maybe you should be concerned...I've been thinking of starting a thread called "Asstuna's Pants" for awhile now.
