It only makes sense. With a new vehicle, you gotta see what it can do. Whether it's topping it out on an undisclosed stretch of highway, or loading it up onto your dyno for a couple pulls.

On my current race bike build, fresh gas was literally the last thing I did.

Nice ride, I think I averaged about the same gas millage on our new Civic on our drive out to Seattle/Vancouver, and at like half the power of your car too.

How do you find the tourqe app for realtime data? I have tourqe pro but currently just using it to pull codes.

The data rate varies with the adapter, the phone, and the car that it is connected to. I get about ~35 PIDs per second, which means about 5Hz if I select 7 items to data log.

Same thing applies for real time gauges; more items equals more lag.

The App does seem to kill the battery rather quickly.

Middle of the night, on our way to Vancouver, a Goose (at least I think it was a goose) got spooked and flew up from the road shoulder, hitting the side mirror. Poor bird

It was dark and I thought the bird was caught up by the mirror somehow and kept hitting the door from air turbulence. Pulled over and found the mirror glass dangling from the wire harness for the blindspot warning LED module. Apparently the impact popped the glass piece off the retaining clips around the motorized mount and hit the door/window, cracking the mirror.

Coughed up $$ for OEM replacement mirror. Heated and included the LED module, even though that could be unclipped. Also found out that Calgary (and Alberta it seems) dealerships like to charge above "List" price from Mercedes. Was quoted $190.90 in Vancouver (no stock) and $227.xx here in Calgary, so some 20% over. Apparently this is also happening at Subaru dealerships.

Yup having troubles with dealerships too for the evo, quoted $218 for inner tierod, bought one oem equivilent for $19.

They gave me HST as a reason, when I called them out on it. BC apparently charges lower prices since they have a larger percentage of tax.

...you're talking about dealership vs rock auto, not dealership vs dealership. That's apples and oranges; and Moog definitely isn't "oem equivalent".

Lets keep in mind I overnighted the glass for you at no charge (Vancouver dealer couldn't get you it), got it delivered to you at the shop and you paid below the price you are posting on forums. Please be courteous and not bash parts pricing or make assumptions like this.

And you're also going to call Airboy a liar?

Oh, this is going to go well. What Mercedes dealership do you work for? I purchased my car in Calgary so I'm curious if it's the same dealership, or if it's the dealership that refused to talk numbers on the C63 they had, and then told me, without evidence, that the other Calgary dealership was lying about the car I eventually purchased.
