It's a Honda. The only thing that kills them is lack of faith.

But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.

I was also trying to mentally tally all the other things you've said in the past you don't have space for.
The 3 is raw.  Lighter than more agile.  The 6 probably feels like a 747.  And by that contrast, my STI probably feels like the Hindenburg.  So GR's are like the International Space Station.

Holy itshay it lives. After spending a few evenings troubleshooting with the help of members on discord (Thanks Zac, RTP, Canuckrz, SSS, and everyone else).

First, the timing belt was off. If you tried to crank, it just spun with no compression.
When the top cam was TDC, the crank was 180* wrong, but if the crank was in TDC, the cam was 90* clockwise. They should both be pointing up. Popped the told of the belt off, got it aligned, and put the belt back on. Was there damage caused by running the starter in this configuration? Probably? Maybe? Whatever. It has 140/150/140/140 compression.

Next up was draining the old fuel. Since I got a free fuel filter, I replaced that as well. It still wouldn't start, and we weren't sure if it was spark or fuel. Spark seemed to be okay, but it was difficult to test alone. Either way, I ordered a new dizzy and some spark plugs off rockauto.

Once the new dizzy showed up, I spent all of 7 minutes installing it. The car immediately started, but like... really badly. (I hate that <1min videos are just shorts, so apologies).

Checking codes, it was a code 14, which is the IACV. I had a spare, but I pulled off the existing one and cleaned it out. It make no difference. Zac mentioned he previously has mixed up the IAT and IACV plugs, so I tried swapping those... and the car seemed much happier.

Great. Next up is picking up a plate for it tomorrow, so I can drive it on the road. After that is reinstalling the coolant to IACV stuff so it won't freeze in the winter, and then fixing the drivers side door, since it won't roll down more than halfway.

Also, I wish it came with those black wheels. The Enkeis are nice, but ya know...

4x100 or 4x114?

Should be 4x100 unless something has gone tragically wrong.

4x100. Probably something in the 15" range, although I could fit 16" on there. OEM are +45.

Update: Took the car to the gas station. Drives great, aside from the fact that it has no heat. Coolant looks low, but it might be a clogged core. Also, the right turn signals don't work, but the left does, and the rear right creaks.
I also need to flush the oil.

I think I needed to change my turn signal stalk for something similar to that. Be careful because the plastic never really goes back to where it was before it was removed.

Backflushed the heater core. Some gross gunk came out, but it started blowing hot again. Also flushed the oil with some fresh stuff. Aside from the super raspy exhaust, this thing is a hoot. I really want to reinstall the power steering at some point, and find some interior panels, including the RH rear speaker cover, and most of the trunk interior, along with some fresh struts.

I got lots of good 14" or 15" wheel options available for it. I can get some 15's that look like the Spoon's/Regamasters that are cheap and light.

I also can get a ton of fun times parts for that thing like swaybars, controlarms, K-swap parts, etc. We also just picked up Buddy Club as a line so I can get all of their fun stuff too.

Good to know. Long term plan is just a nice reliable cruiser. Solid hard parker that's comfortable to drive. Lowered, K-swap, decent wheels... One day.
